Our Commitment

ComplyWeb is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. As an accessibility evidence platform, we hold ourselves to the same standards we help our customers meet. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards to our own product.

Conformance Status

ComplyWeb aims to conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA. We regularly test our platform using both automated tools (including our own scanning engine) and manual review to identify and address accessibility barriers.

We recognise that accessibility is an ongoing effort and we are committed to continuous improvement.

Measures We Take

ComplyWeb takes the following measures to ensure accessibility:

• Include accessibility as part of our development process and design reviews
• Use semantic HTML and ARIA attributes where appropriate
• Ensure keyboard navigability throughout the application
• Maintain sufficient colour contrast ratios across the interface
• Provide text alternatives for non-text content
• Test with screen readers and assistive technologies
• Run automated accessibility checks against our own platform

Technical Specifications

ComplyWeb is a web application built with modern web technologies. Accessibility relies on the following:

• HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• WAI-ARIA for enhanced semantics where native HTML is insufficient
• SVG for icons and visual elements with appropriate alternative text

The platform is designed to work with modern browsers and assistive technologies including screen readers such as NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver.

Known Limitations

While we strive for full accessibility, some areas may have limitations:

• PDF reports: Generated PDF reports include structured content but may not be fully tagged for screen reader navigation. We are working to improve PDF accessibility.
• Third-party integrations: Some elements provided by third-party services (e.g. payment processing) may not fully meet WCAG 2.2 AA.
